FACTIONS
What is a faction?
Factions at their core are race specific, but each faction may allow others outside of their specific race if they feel the character and player will mesh will into their group, especially if a faction does not already exist for that players character race. If, however, a faction already exists then the leadership will first encourage that player to seek out their race faction first.
Can I create a faction?
You may create a faction within the LA Structure but all new factions must be reviewed by the Storyteller and Admin staff for their additive potential to the RP structure of the city. While not all factional proposals may be approved depending on how they fit or conflict with the city’s overall storyline, all proposals will be considered and anyone putting in the time to help create roleplay within the City of Lost Angels community has the right to rise into a higher level of story telling potential without the potential for exile and ostracization by any member of the admin team or the community.
CoLA’s entire history has always been built around people that share their story with others so well that it becomes part of the city’s story, every faction that has ever been created in CoLA was created around one or a few people that truly had a concept that helped the city thrive and if you feel you can add to our story in a positive way, you will be welcomed here.
